There is something about going back and looking at one's own illustrations months to years later. It is an ugly side to the wonderful event of growing and gaining experience as you engage in your own art. It’s what you leave behind – your naïveté.
The problem is see is when you illustrating a book. What happens when you advance way past where you were when you began illustrating the book?
What a pain.
