Progress (edits)

Getting closer to finishing an issue and I wanted to do some color edits, add SFX, and general tweaking. Since I posted these pages, I’ll show the changes. The only thing that is still up in the air is the lettering and word balloons. I’ve read so much indicating that if you letter without Illustrator you’re an a-hole, that I’m still not sure if I need to buy it or not. My main concern is that I don’t want things to start separating when they go to print.

Crikes, that's shaping up nice. Now we got a ball game!

As for lettering, you're already working digitally so Illustrator seems a given. But if you were working on paper, I would have recommended going with hand lettering.

The more I draw my own material the more I want to hand letter as well. It's becoming a lost art like brush inking.

The pages are looking great, man... I like the color adjustments and the sfx seem organic not forced.
